Learning Together to Strengthen Program Delivery
ActionAid, Afghanistan (AAA) held its annual Participatory Review and Reflection Process (PRRP) in Kabul on 28–29 September 2026, bringing together colleagues from different regions and functions to review program progress, share experiences, and shape priorities for 2027.
Conducted every year, the PRRP supports better implementation and continuous improvement by helping teams reflect on achievements, understand challenges, and identify changes needed to strengthen their work. This year’s workshop connected evidence from implementation with community perspectives and organizational experience to inform future planning.
Through participatory discussions and practical group work, colleagues examined what worked well and where improvement was needed. Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) helped guide these exchanges, enabling participants to identify lessons and actions for more effective programs that respond to community priorities.
