Successful Winter Assistance Delivered to Vulnerable Families in Lal wa Sarjangal District

The Ghor Provincial Office of ActionAid, under the AHF-funded project, successfully completed the distribution of critical winter assistance to 720 vulnerable households (436 male-headed and 284 Female-headed) in Lal wa Sarjangal District.

Each household received AFN 18,910 in cash assistance along with three blankets, helping them to better meet their basic needs. In addition to the material support, awareness sessions on COVID-19 prevention and key messages on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) were conducted to promote health awareness and improve the overall well-being of the beneficiaries (720 HHs).
