ActionAid, Afghanistan Distributes Cash for Winterization Assistance to Vulnerable returnees in Nangarhar Province

ActionAid, Afghanistan successfully distributed cash to 47 out of the 50 identified vulnerable beneficiaries. The distribution aimed to provide winterization assistance to vulnerable beneficiaries in Jalalabad City of Nangarhar province.

Each beneficiary received a total amount of 24,130 Afghani (USD 331). The cash distribution was executed in a transparent and efficient manner, ensuring that the intended recipients received the winterization assistance they required.

Representatives from various line departments were present during the distribution process in Jalalabad City. Their presence ensured accountability and added to the transparency of the operation. They expressed their gratitude for the valuable assistance provided by ActionAid, Afghanistan and requested similar support in the future.
